I picked up this receiver for a song and found out that the joke was on me! With a DSP mode on, the front 2 channels are far too quiet. They sound fine, but with the volume set to 70%, they sound like they normally would at maybe 10%. The left is a little quieter, but they're close to one another. All of the other channels seem to be operating normally. The interesting thing is that the front channels operate normally if the receiver is switched to "source direct" which I believe bypasses the DSP circuitry??
Any ideas? Does anyone have any experience working on these Marantz receivers? I read a thread with a guy who had a similar problem, but no sound at all. His was allegedly an IC on the volume board. Any help or direction that can be offered would be appreciated. I don't have the repair manual yet either... Thanks in advance! -John

No one? I'm hoping the answer is something other than "your dsp is dead"...
