Hello everybody,

This is my story.

I bought a vintage heath kit AA-22 SS Amp few months ago. It has 2 RCA transistors for one channel (2N2147). But now, all power transistors were dead.

I would like to replace them with other equivalent Transistor of Motorola.

Pls show me what type is the best.

Thanks.

this looks like a power inverter circuit because some of the wires seem to be cross connected to windings on the transformer. if it is, you only need to re-bias the base winding for 0.7 volts instead of 0.3 volts, and replace the transistors with silicon PNPs, and the 1N23 diodes with 1N4002 diodes. even if it's an amp, unless you're trying to preserve historical accuracy here, i would do the same thing, go to silicon devices.
