Previously I had asked the diy forum about a volume stabilizer.
Here is an item: http://www.buy.com/prod/terk-vr-1-tv.../90120125.html Good price. But does anyone know if these things work with a soundcard (AC'97) audio and a small solid state receiver (mine is the Yamaha RP U100) The USB receiver has on screen controls. Can a uniot like the Terk volume regulator be used with more than one input (computer soundcard, stand alone dvd player)? I have a similar unit made by Sima Corp that I got years ago. But the Sima has no effect when used with the soundcard. Could it be my hookup? The light on the Sima still works. It has a 2x and 10x setting to stabilze. But it doesn't do jack on video playback with a prog. like VLC media player. |
