I have the possibility of buying a Carver tfm-55 but concerned about running my Klipsch F-1 speakers through them due to the power on tap here. I've always had integrated amps but the carver attracted my attention.
My Klipsch are rated at 100W (8 ohm) with 93 db sensitivity while the Carver outputs 380 W at 8 ohm. I want to use a Aikido valve pre-amp with the Carver and my Klipsch. Will they be compatible? Don't have the chance of testing it with my speakers as the seller is far away. Look forward to your advice. |
