I believe that the AD-825 is a good replacement ... anybody know any others ...

as always ...it depends
if the cirucit takes advantage of the unusually high supply V capability of the 604 you may have difficulty finding any suitable replacement |

OPA627, OPA827, AD825, OPA134. To me, all of them sound better than the OPA604.

I think i'd go with the '827 if I could manage the package, otherwise the '134 would be my choice. The '827 could also be a hf oscillation problem tho. The '134 would be better in that regard imo.
