Default Carver PM-1.5 Amp buzz humm

Getting noise from a Carver PM-1.5 amp. Anyone know about a fix for this? Thanks.

yes avoid them like the plague! they always had terrible dry joints! yuck!

Default Hummm

Replace the power supply caps. Is the hum on both channels? If it is I would look at the supply caps, its common with these guys.

Could be the components... or the wiring.

OTOH it could be the moronic operator who, despite being a member for six years, hasn't got the wit to post a more detailed description of the fault than this.
