I want to make an audio amplifier for a CD player. What should be the power rating of the amplifier and what IC should I use if it is a personal amplifier for only 2 rooms?
I do not want to use PCB, but veroboard, so, which IC would be cheap and effective? Help would be appreciated.

Tahmid, you could have a look at the chipamp forum and build yourself a gainclone with a LM3875/76.
