Hello I have a pm66se which has developed a 50 hz hum from the right channel, i have to have my ear nearish the woofer to hear it so not too loud ..but there, also audible through headphone out. Its regardless of source connected or not, with vol pot at minimum or max.....also when using remote for volume control this adds to the hum whilst turning but only in the right channel. Amp and cdp run off a dedicated radial and the only prob its had was r802 blowing a year ago. Idling current is at 16mv. No scope yet ( fleabay pending)
Anyone with any ideas please as where to be checking? Many thanks for any suggestions. Ian |
