http://pagesperso-orange.fr/jm.plantefeve/sche.html ZenQuito is an interesting Amplifier Preferably biased into Class A. There are several variants, and in my opinion, they are Good Amps. You will find several good topics. diyAudio members that have built ZenQuito, like: Quote:
Or Search forum for ZenQuito http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/search.php ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ![]() You should also check out the: Hiraga Class A amplifier - The Monster (Le Monstre). It is a classic and very well known amplifier designed by a famous amplifier man: Jean Hiraga of France Wasn't long ago we had a topic about this Great Amplifier. I posted some myself: Hiraga - "Le Monstre" amplifier Lineup - regars

This is a very good page on amplifiers. If you have a stereo bought from say, Walmart lying around, you might be able to use this page to 'step it up' and make it sound reaaaaaally good.
The schematic at the bottom is a class-AB design, but higher up he uses a class-A output stage. http://www.dself.dsl.pipex.com/ampins/dipa/dipa.htm - keantoken
