I did search the forums. What does LAPT mean? I searched Sanken's website and could not find the definition. Does it stand for anything? I can get a whole bunch of these from my distributor as they are franchised for Allegro Semiconductor and looking things over they appear to have some pretty decent stuff.

LAPT is another word for ring emitter, which basically means that inside each big transistor, there are a bunch of smaller ones connected in parallel. This is almost required to create a power transistor in the >30 MHz range.
