Hi,
I am planning to build a relay swithcer for resistor chains, with something between 12-24 steps. My idea is to use same number of single-pole relays, each shorting one resistor in the gain chain. My idea is to use some programmable chip like Xilinx FPGAs (or maybe PIC or similar), with matrix keyboard input and maybe some LCD output. But I need some advice about the relays, I would like to know if the switch can by done with less relays than the number of steps. Thanks for your input |
