Hi all, while surfing the net I came across this interesting little circuit at, http:// home eunet cz/rysanek/pdf/irf-fet-amp.pdf the circuit is quite straight forward and easy to build and set up it uses2 IRF COMPLIMENTARY HEXFETS (iRF 532& 9532)IN A COMPLIMENTARY PP CONFIG PUTTING OUT 60w into4 ohm or 32w into 8, I would be interested in your valued opinions of this little circuit

This is the application note from IRF about using their products for linear audio amp. Never built it and never heard of someone who built it either.
But IMHO just by looking to the circuit this is a very basic circuit and could be better in some aspect so I don't recommend it. (BTW the original is at www.irf.com in the application note section)

Good circuit.
Most of the difficult design issues addressed, well documented, simple. Excellent start point for 'mosfet' sound. Try it. You won't be disappointed. Cheers, Hugh |
