Default Very Importand Semiconductor Info

CHECK THIS OUT !!!!!!

in the past and especially arround the 80's when major company wanted to buy from japan 2SA 1302 for example from toshiba factory the toshiba people at the time actually forced to buy not only the 2SA 1302 but all the family of transistors related to this .

This results that many companies do not have any more the SA1302 but there is a very good chance that have many in stock of 2SA 1301,1300,1303 and so on ......

-if they do they will sell for nothing to kick away the old stock
-if you buy then its for shure the real japanese device

under this logic i made a search in the local market and i come up with a small tresure that this people willing to sell as scrap .....

the only problem is that parts are not always complementary ....but if you have so nice outputs why not make quasi ?????

here is some numbers

Sakis,

most over the numbers you mention go for serious bucks in most places, e.g. the Toshiba 2SB600 or the Panasonic/Matsu 2SB1155. (and all the Sanken types i see there)

You're welcome to post a list of the local stores that sell these items, i'll gladly hop over for a free Greek holiday and some heavy metal X-mas shopping.

Not strange at all ... seems that you have many quasi-complementary builders over in neighbourly Greece.
The fact is, that - a quasi with NPN devices can be easily converted to a quasi with only PNP devices ... and ~1 euro is very good for original toshibas ! Think you can ship a couple of these to Bulgaria ?

Maybe high time for a parts exchange forum overhere.

A year or so ago i managed to import a bunch of very obsolete NEC devices after a tip from Adam/Darkfenriz, the complementary part was sold here. Because both were single availability items on both sides i collected the pairs by the cheapo.

(=serious. Usually i'm not when i talk shop, but very serious when i maka jokeys, aka as best way to find out who's talking from his Nutz)

Lol, I'm not kidding, Sakis - when they do that, pick up a shovel, dig a bag or two of those, and send them to Bulgaria, the market here is AWFUL ! 150W supposed-to-be-device has 2.5x2.5mm die ! Awful I tell you ... it would be great if I lay my hands on some of those for my experiments. (or even the final products )

P.S. When you get some samples of the supposed-to-be-original Toshiba devices - crack some open, and post pics and mesaurements of the die here.

Hi Sakis

Nice list you have there, i would be interested in some of those for repairs to amps. Maybe i should visit Greece myself too.
98% of transistors in my country are fake and when you point that out to the vendors you get insulted too (they think you joking).
What im really after is 2sa1406/2sc3600 or 2sa1407/2sc3601 2sa1016k/2sc2362k , my source hasnt been able to locate large stocks yet, if you could have a look at them id be gratefull.
Also id be interested in medium power trannies that may be available.

Thanks
Alex

Default for those that

may be interested thinks are getting better and better .....

it seems that through this is possible to get very good prizes on almost todays numbers of transistors

for example i can get very original 2SA1943 -5200 for 1.5 euro a piece i think thats very cheap or 2sc2921 ( thats a sanken monster ) for also 1.8 euro

there is more ....soon i am going to have the list from another company ( and one more to come ) and place it on my site for those may interest

still remains a probelm that many NPN is available but no PNP
