Default Gary Pimm's self biasing CCS - parts

Can the IRF1820 Mosfets be replaced in this circuit as I can't find them or datasheet.

What part would be most suitable & what component value changes would be needed?

Default Mouser & Digikey

It's IRF820 (rather than IRF1820) and they are in stock at both of these distributors. I've built some of Gary's CCS's and they work great.

Good luck,
John

Could you explain the difference in operation for the pentode vs the mosFET connection options?
