128w 8ohms X 2 amp, sound nice, great amp
hi all,
i have just made one amp from DX-Precision-I, first i have to say i am not good in electronics, sorry, i am a good listener. this is my own made but the power amp circuit design from DX. lcd is my own project, not taken from any where. i wrote my own software for relay and some switch to control. i used pic16f877. original transistors "snkn". it dsn't get much hot as i used low mlv at output. very stable with good sound. i am going to try hrii too. i will make srval amp to compare and keep for my own. you can see it is not so nice looks but it works great. even i know the way i made is not right. if i can buy pcb for it, i know the sound will be much more btr then now. thank to all. michael http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/j...G_0299-2-1.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/j...IMG_0295-2.jpg |
man......
this the most ugly thing i ve ever seen in my life
|
ugly but works nice.
hi,
it is ugly to you cause you have exp then me. i am just new and know nothings about electronics as i said earlier. i even don't know how to make pcb board for it. no choice i had to use vr board to make it to works. thanks for your comments. |
Well done considering that you don't know much to electronics
;) |
i didnt mean anything
by that ....i mostly said it a joke
actually is not really difficult to shape the all thing up and except good sound you can make it look nicer .... but hell thats gona be a lot of work regards sakis |

hi,
i don't know how you feels for the construction. it's sound is really great, honestly tells you. i love this amp sound. i will re construct it but not now until i can make a pcb board. now i am trying how can i make my own pcb board by using dx pcb design. i am looking for any easy way to make pcb at home. also needs to get hsink to seperate them into two. it is running 40+ c and coold in low vol. thank you. |

Hi Space,
Yeh, I have to say well done too. Takes me back to some of the first things I made on veroboard. What sort of speakers do you run this into ? And learn to make PCB's next. You can have a go at making my amp then :D Regards Karl |
The amps look powerful with lots of output transistors!!!
Good job! :D |
