Yamaha's new A-S2000

I don't think they have a schematic available yet, but they do have a "concept" drawing in their brochure:

--> Is this kind of output stage similar to the circlotron-type schematic used for tube amplifiers, or is it something new?

Sounds a lot like the Crown Grounded Bridge™ amplifier.

I thought so too - because they make use of floating power supplies, but in the brochure, they state that transistors "of a single polarity" are used, thus making the amp truly symmetrical (or at least, more symmetrical than a basic NPN-PNP push-pull configuration).
