hi does anyone know of any replacements for these transistors 2sa1186/ 2sc2837 im having a hard time locating these outside of ebay.

I would try 2SC5200/2SA1943.

I think CPC stock them. CPC is (I think) related to Farnell.
You should be able to find CPC website from say Google.
OR You can buy some from me. I have 90pcs+ (-Y)
