Need help from Chris or others who are familiar with this vintage (still in great condition) power amplifier..
Have only been turning on this amp occasionally and recently discovered the left channel produces only feeble sound (only mid and tweeters, no bass notes). swap the speaker cables and narrowed down to the left channel. have opened up and ohmed out the major components like the power transistors, large diodes, resistors and compared that with the Right channel board.. cant seem to find anything blown or shorted. any help and advise appreciated. also where can i download or get a copy of the schematics thanks in advance ron msn: frywok163@hotmail.com skype: golfgears or golf_gears |
