Default use a TL074 or TL072 as sub?

Is it possible to use a TL074 as a substitute? I have an AudioControl EQX equalizer that I was given and some one totally blew it up. 2 4136CP Ic's are split in half!

I have piles of 4558 Ic's and 741's as well, I just want to get this equalizer working to make a sub woofer system.

I have used TL075 (If you can find them - it's been a while) They are same as TL074 but have same pin out as 4136. Good luck. Steve

I used to upgrade the 4136 in Carver products with the TL075 (no longer available).

Now an expensive adapter board and a pair of dual surface mount op-amps are needed.
