Audio Research D115 meets the LM4702

I bought an Audio Research D120 with a broken driver card -- this used some LSI devices -- sold the driver card on EBay -- and recouped a nice portion of the cost of the amplifier. Well, I am finally getting around to dressing it up with an LM4702 Driver Chip and some Sanken transistors:

Will probably use some mu-Metal shielding for the transformer.

There's 60mF per rail courtesy of Audio Research.

After working over the power supply I now have an appreciation for why the previous owner gave it the "heave-ho" (the broken driver card was probably the last straw) -- there was a cold solder connection from the power transformer to the positive 60,000uF filter cap -- it actually wiggled.

I thought all those little old ladies in Minnesota knew how to solder.
