I've got an application where I need to use a threaded spacer to connect to binding posts. The common materials are aluminum and zinc plated brass. Which would be preferred? Other than Digikey, who is a good vendor?

If they made standoffs out of copper without a 10,000 piece minimum order at $10 each I'd use copper. The common ones that are readily available are aluminum and plated brass.
