I have a question:Which transisotr pair is better for an 150w in a 4 ohm load the MJ15022/MJ15023 or the 2SA3281/2SC1302.What i want is not only power but also a quality bass.

I think the bass part depends more on the surrounding electronics.

I understand the TO-3 case transfers heat to the heatsink a bit moreefficiency. This may be relavant if you plan heavy-duty use.

Thank you very much.I finally came to a decision and I'll tell you the results a.s.a.p.I'll use the MJ's first and if they don't work like I want I'll change them.Sorry for troubleing you for nothing.
