I built a couple of the 150W mosfet amps. Wish I knew what happened to them... lost somewhere in the depths of time.

Were the first amplifiers I built as well. Must have been back in the early 90's.

see post 64 and 64, if you want an amp that can run on +- 80 vdc, there are many examples here, please look at the amps by APEX or Workhorse....

10k lin pot might be OK for Rin = 3k9
But that Rin will be very demanding of all Sources and particularly of unbuffered vol pots.

why transistors damage or heated when input is not shorted or not placed pot?plz explain by circuit how current flow etc thank to all.
