Hello,
My cambridge audio a5 was hooked up to some dodgy speakers with a measured impedance of only 3.2 ohms and turned up too loud and now it won't power on. I just presumed they were 8 ohms. I've opened it up and checked all the fuses and they're fine. There are no visibly damaged components. Does anyone know where I should start looking to fix it and how I can check the power transistors? I've emailed cambridge audio but they're not too keen on thier customers trying to service amps themselves for obvious reasons. Thanks in advance, any help greatly appreciated |

Please do a search for Cambridge audio A5 on the site and you will find out how to do it and schematics. Giving you advice on your thread will just be going over the same ground. If you still cant find the info you need let me know
