Can any one recommend me a manufacture for a Switch mode PSU with the rating's of
110 V ac in and between 48 - 60v out @ 6amps max and 180 watts. |

Look for this item on the surplus market- a lot of telecom equipment runs on 48VDC and a lot of it has very high current switchers. Used switching power supplies are common and dirt cheap.
