Would you be willing to share the plans for the case. I would love to build a couple of these for my AX's I'm going to start working on. I am most interested in the design for the faceplate. Any information would be appreciated...Thanks Lee

we just copied the design from pass labs of course.

its really just a hand drawing that was then interpreted with some angles and such. ours looks a little different to accomodate a smaller meter.

if you need the plans, i guess i could somehow get them to you. (they are full scale, and thus bigger than a single sheet of paper, and i can copy them really...)

i can give dimensions though. the beveling is interesting though, all the angles are varying around the center meter.

plus, maybe i want an original

why dont you just show them pictures? the case is 8" high and 17" wide, the total metal is 1.5" thick (the base plate is .25" and the fins are 1.25"). that should be sufficient to get a rough quote.

hehe, the cardboard amp was awesome! it always sounded awesome just because no one expected it to even play sound.

but anyways, it was grounded j/k.

to tell you the truth, paper burns at 451 F.

the chips were heatsinked pretty good, and i imagine the chips would burn up before the cardboard could get to that temp?
