Default Input/VAS stage modifications

Here are some further modifications to the topology of the LTP and VAS stages, with the everything else removed for the purpose of LTSpice simulation. The main change is the use of Lender's dual drive to both the LTP active loads. All transistors are garden-variety commodity types.

It simulates with H2 ~= -126 dB, H3 < -145 dB, ... at VAS voltage swings of +/- 40 volts. Most importantly, even harmonics dominate the succeeding odd harmonics by ~20 dB each, potentially yielding tube-type sonics, but with vanishingly low THD.

I had completely forgotten about it.
Seems Xpro became too busy to do the translation.
I note that in those days I still hadn't learnt to spell Lin correctly.
I used Linn, as in the Scottish manufacturer of the Sondek.

The distortion is very low, however, the open loop gain of his proposed amp was huge so I don't see much need for a Kulish cell - but with low feedback factors it should be very nice yet so little interest ?

the simplest cell has geniuine fft for a few wats
it works now in deep A class with 1,3A idle
all it needs is a compensation which might spoil the sound...

Is that -105dB for 2nd & 3rd, for an output stage without global NFB?

What is that @ ~ 23MHz?

unfortunately it is global cfb.
~ 23MHz is the oscillation
