i have a carver m200t amp that i would like to convert from spring clip out-puts to binding posts. any idea how hard this would actually be? i know i can get binding posts off of e-bay, but i haven't yet opened the amp to see if/how it could be done. any suggestions?? would i be better off having an external binding post connection with a short jumper so that i can also bi-wire my speakers?

classic tunage..... whereabouts outside TO are you? If your close maybe we could get together and I can give you some ideas. I have done a couple M-200t's and many older pieces like Marantz with the push button terminals. My way is work because I like to have it look like factory when done and also I don't modify anything when possible so it can be returned to stock with the original terminals if needed. The 200 has that cheap push tab terminal block so I just built a custom block that mounted in its place and used the exsisting holes.
