High quality 40-60w amplifier

I have a bunch of a BD911 and BD912, had full of BC-s, and transformer with 2x20v ac. That gives about 2x40w at 6 ohm. I have tried to find schematic for this kind voltage but found couple of "no name" type schematics.

Can anyone suggest some fairy simple schematic for 2x28V but some good quality amp?

I'll try to find schematic that i have made but I'm not pleased with it because it's midrange is very bad sounding :(

Also, i must say that, building amp with Lm3886 and similar maybe is faster but it takes away all the fun of building one :)

My 50W/4Ohm 30W/8Ohm error-correction amplifier design using dirty cheap parts.
Your 2*20Vac transformer will be just OK. Use 10.000uF-35/50V elkos for PSU.

Hi guys,

Lumanauw, see the following links for working method of my amplifier:

Be careful, the attached schematic is only a test version, a prototype, It's not a final version!

There is a fault in the circuit and on the PCB-placing: the three 1N4148s in serial need to be three 1N4002s in serial!!!

Hi Donk,

Where can we see a final version of the schematic and PCB layouts?

Hi Donk,

have you ever realized the final version of your amp?

If yes, what about stability?

Regard.
