Default About first cycle distortions and memory distortions

Hello

Graham Maynard talk about first cycle distortions in his Gem amp web site. http://gmweb2.net/Documentation/Intr...ledgements.htm

And Peufeu talk about memory distortions in his web page. http://peufeu.free.fr/audio/memory/

Can we see first cycle distortions and memory distortions as the same problems or we are talking of two differents problems ?

And how can we measure first cycle distortions or transient distortions ?

Thank

Bye

Gaetan
