Nice. It's about time they came out with a new model.

Thats big.

Looks like it would be used in the prison system to electrocute
serial killers! Looks like the damn think would melt anything you
could hook up to it. . . .why!

Old Crown MA10,000 with facelift. Not very much power by today's standards.

Will swing in excess of 200VRMS (10KW) mono into 2 ohms:

Of course, if you need 18KW into 4 ohms in one rack space:

(will burn up any single speaker I am aware of)

"Fast
40V / millisecond slew rate"

Huh?

AndrewT 8th November 2007 10:37 AM

Ahh!
but it's got four handles so that two people can try to lift it.
It must be good then.

djk 8th November 2007 11:25 AM

It's weight exceeds the maximum OSHA limit for a two-man lift.

I wouldn't mind having one for the bedroom system, I wonder if the utility would run three-phase to my house?

Huh?

That's what I thought and then noticed that they go on to say
" 41 volts per microsecond " in the spec. document:

And they will. We have one of these sitting on the shelf. No one will use it! After Fifty Cent blew up 4 EV X Subs with it.
