i was given a DENON AVR-2500 form hong kong will it work in the uk, will ineed a transformer,THE VOLTAGE IS DIFFERENT 115/230V
POWER CONSUMPTION 270 WATTS, help please |

115/230 means you can switch the supply connections for 115 or 230 V operation. Hong Kong uses 220 Volts . So I guess it is already set for 230 volts.
Doesn't the manual say something about how to change that ? How about a picture of the rear of the amp near the power supply cable.
