Fisher 220 Receiver

Just picked up an early Fisher solid state receiver. It has a walnut case and I thought it had tubes until I took it apart. It sounds good but has one problem. When switched to mono it drives both speakers with equal balance. When switched to stereo mode one channel is very faint. I can only hear output when turned way up.

Any thoughts as to whether this is a output transistor issue or other problem. I cleaned all of the pots and switches with no success. Thanks in advance for any advice.

This would indicate that both channel output stages are not the problem. (Can drive both speakers)
Try tracing the signal in the input stage, before the volume pot.
Perhaps it's only your interconnect or source causing the problem.
