Hi!
Would it be possible to build a home made Variac? I would need a 300VA type to testing inductors and circuits. Greets: Tyimo |

Hi,
If you were capable of making all the mechanical components to allow the mains to be tapped off the main winding, you would have a big problem sourcing all the materials suitable for reliable operation. I doubt this could ever be a sensible and economic DIY proposition. Try to buy one secondhand.
