I just measured the rectangular waveform on the non-oscillating channel and it's free of any form of peaking or ringing. So I think I will adjust the oscillating one a bit further to make sure it also stops showing any signs of peaking. It seems I've bandwith enough to make it a bit slower if that's necessary to get it operating fine.
