Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with the scopes typically found in vintage marantz tuners, i own a marantz 2110 tuner and the scope works but doesnt have that 'glow' affect that ive seen some others have...does anyone know what the problem is? are these scopes easily found to replace? Hope someone out there can help! Cheers, Andy |

Glow? You lost me...
Many Marantz scopes have small 'grain of wheat' lamps mounted close to the front of the CRT to illuminate the scale. Is that what you're talking about? |

hey there,
maybe your right? i'll take a photo of my scope...the lines are just squiggles....in photos that ive seen on the internet, the scope appears to be of a 'comet' nature more fuzzy and thicker...but my scope only shows thin lined squiggles - i dont know if thats normal or not??? Cheers, Andy |

Hi,
Ther's a German guy called Doc-Marantz on eBay who can replace all 2110, 2130, 2500, 2600, ST-8, ST-8 MKII... vintage marantz tuners : he seems serious and skilled. He also can provide for woodcase replacement. |

hello sir
i have a marantz 2110 scope tuner with burned trafos. i am able to wind trafos with y coil winding machine but the secondary tensions of the trafos are wrong in the original schematic. please could you help me?? i have made a picture of the board and the schematic that i could send you ( if you are willing to give me your adress..) so that it would be a 3-minute job for you to measure the values. you effort would be a great help for me. thank you so much best regards gerhard |
