Default Sony Super lrgato linear

I have recently come across a Sony amplifier that boastes it is Super Legato Linear
What is this ? I have Googled and can not find any information
I thought I was abreast of all transistor technologies but this one is new to me !!!
Any Response would be most interesting .

I only have a description but not how it works. You should be able to pick that up from a service manual.

"Improves the performance of the voltage and power amplification stages by removing crossover distortion to the inaudible frequency range".

Where would one pick up a service manual for Sony? I am not a dealer only an entheusiast!
