It's a bit confusing, but I guess it is a classA variant of this principle :
http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/attac...amp=1097786469 The VBE multiplier (Q12) has steady voltage drop. The value will be the same as = VbeQ2+VbeQ4+VdropR22(10ohm). If adjusted properly, it will make a CCS system for R22 (there's always current passing thru R22) D1+D2 is a limiter, imagine it is not conducting. Simple but smart principle, makes the output stage never turn off |
