Can someone tell me what the BIAS should be on my L05's? And have someone changed the potmeters mounted by Kenwood to some better and closed types?

If you were asking about the L-07M, I could have told you all you needed. Unfortunately, I don't know much about the L-05M, other than what it looks like and its rated power.
The L-07M calls for 25mV from emitter of the NPN to the emitter of the PNP, and the L-05M is probably somewhere around that figure. As far as the offset and bias trimpots, I can just about always find a Bourns trimpot to replace them with...sometimes a single-turn 3386-series pot, and sometimes a 3296-series 25-turn pot. |
