The right channel limit light stays on constantly on my McIntosh power amplifier MC2500. This does not seem to affect its operation. I found an old discussion on this forum about the problem but there were no replys and the last entry was dated December 2005. Is anyone out there familiar with the Power Guard Limit light always on problem?

Get the schematic from McIntosh, have your serial number handy when you call.
Replace the lamp driver transistor.
