Spice models LM3875 and TDA2050
Hello all,
Does anybody have models of these two power opamps? Greetings, Jarno. |

I have never SPICED, myself. I read data, datasheets, looks at curves in diagrams. Then I use my calculator. And lots of paper and pen. Spice or not, we still can get some (disappointing!) surprises, when we do the real life setup. SPICE for TDA2050/TDA2040 LM3875/LM1875? I am 100% sure there are several guys here at Fourm, that have such data. I bring your thread to top now - then we see "if any fish catch the bait" ;) halo - the fisherman :D :D :D :hot: |

Here's all the data from National regarding LM3875: http://www.national.com/pf/LM/LM3875.html and here for the TDA2050: http://us.st.com/stonline/books/pdf/docs/1461.pdf Spicy-models, indeed, but no spice data. Hugo - whishes he could caculate:bawling: ;) |
A model of these ICs would have to be generated by someone using data unavailable from the company. The "discrete equivelant" is shown but but I think some of the necessary values are missing.

Jarno,
I think I have one of these ICs in my simulator. When I come home today I'll try to obtain the spice model for you. BTW, you guys have seen the thread about a free and UNLIMITED simulator + pcb (AutoTRAX eda)? I saw it yesterday and downloaded the soft. At a first galnce it seemed very nice. regards, |
Jarno,
Bad news. I tried to export a spice for LM1875 and the Electronic Workbench returned a blue screen on windows!! But I found this link - http://eu.st.com/stonline/books/pdf/docs/8665.pdf - and I suppose it will be useful for you. regards |
