Hi, I am attempting to build the ESP Wein Bridge Oscillator (Project 22) which calls for:
"12V 50mA 'Grain of Wheat' lamps" Looking for suitable lamps at Mouser, found this one (part 606-CM7219), 12V, 60mA (catalog page 94). Anyone know if this is suitable, or if not, have a suitable part ##? I note that a digikey and mouser have a lot of lamps listed but many are not stocked or not available.

To be honest any 12v bulb with a 50mA or thereabouts filament should do. The bulb isnt actually used to illuminate anything, it's used as a temperature drift compensator.
"Grain of Wheat" lamps are also know as "midget" lamps.. and used to be used in telephones and the like. |
