Sony STR-DE635 receiver no sound, what's blown?

I removed the transformer connection and tested the RBV-602 again, and pins 2&3 are still shorted. If I were to take it out, what additional tests should I perform? Or should I just order a new one?

I found replacement transistors and parts (uPC2581V, MN2488, MP1620, RBV-602) at http://www.bdent.com , but to totally rehaul my amp it would be $100, which isn't worth it. I'd rather find what's broken and replace that.

I'm thinking the RBV-602 is gone, and if I get that fixed and the amp turns on properly maybe it will fix my no-audio problem!

Shorted rectifier. Interesting.

It needs replacing. Look for at least one blown output stage or something that would draw that much current.
