Jvc A-x40 Amp Mod Help
HI i am newly registered, i would like to know if i can mod my amplifier jvc a--x40 to be louder, which parts would i change in the amplifier?
the transistors or the driver caps or something. i am new to electronics, i just know basics such as fixing mobile phones simple stuff like screen changing and soldering a wire. |
if by "to be louder" you mean more output power, than no...
You would end up practically building a new amplifier. |
why???????
how cum dnt i just change the transistors and power cap and power supply

As I said, building a new amplifier... what you just listed are the most expensive components
You would need to increase the heatsink size also, and at the end of it all there is no guarantee that the circuit would be stable. You cannot just "ramp up the juice" and hope things won't break. It would be cheaper, easier and more reliable to buy a new amp with the power output you wanted. |
