Default Best choice for Adcom Power Amp?

Was wondering if there was a "preferred" model of these from the GFA series 545, 555, 5400 5802, etc. as an all around best bet, sound good, and handle difficult loads if required. I had a 5802, but sadly sold it some time ago. It was outrageous. How do the others stack up against it? I'm using a Nelson Pass-designed "blue-board" GFP-750 to mate it with, right now.

Thanks!

I like the sound of the 545ii. It's a tad amemic but at approx 140wpc at clipping into 8 ohms, it is no slouch.

I have used all the ones you mention.
