I have a plan to build a balanced outlet into my (virtual amp) foot pedal. I imagine that all I need is an XLR socket and a quality transformer. I’ve heard of oxford and Jensen components. It’s the spec that bugs me. 1:1 obviously, 600ohm defiantly and I would imagine 20hz to 20KHz (I’ve seen 200Hz described as an audio transformer, but I’m a bass player!)
This is where my knowledge runs out. |
