Ok so Im building a 5.1 channel AV receiver over the summer, I have all the video, audio switching and LCD / control bits sorted, i just need to know about the amp,

I was intending on having 50 watts per surround speaker , does this sound normal ?? (front R/L and Rear R/L) then say 30 watts for the center,

whats a normall wattage for a high end subwoofer ?

so anyway youve heard my plan, whats the simplest solid state amp (single channel ill build 5 of them) and subwhoofer amp , im hoping for a 1 chip and a few capacitors soloution

power supply of 12 volts preffered but i can do up to 35,
