Yamaha AX1050

Hi guys
I have a question you maybe able to answer.
I have a Yamaha AX1050 amp it only works on pure direct and it has low audio I did bridge the main and the pre-out to no avail, It had some bad solder joints I went over the ones I could see without pulling it all apart and it still doesn’t work.

Question: does it sound like a fault or something stupid like a setting?

Your tone controls... are they working?

Only by passed using the direct switch?.....no tone controls?

Inform with more details...your post is already visited by many guys...you can see by the number of hits... and no one entered, i think, because doubts about what you really want.

I am sure people want to help you...but we need you to provide details.

Bad signal coupling caps???

I got given the amp, and the volume light is blinking that means its muted? Which explains the bleed through when I turn it up full but the only thing is I don’t have a remote.
I’ll keep you posted when I find a way to un mute it maybe a Logitech Harmony remote will do it.
