I have a quad 306 and applied an input signal to high, this has damged the amplifier and rpdoced a stragne fault that i cant trace, the ouput now oscilates as per the pictures. I have replaced all of the semicondutcors and capacitors and tested the amplifier at various stages as components were replaced. The only thing I havent replaced are the 3 inductors, and resistors now.
The dc voltages are more or less in line with those of the working channel and I am not sure were to go next. If I diconect the feedback network might this help identify the problem. Or will it destroy the amp if I try and power it up without the global feedback. The scope plot timebase is 2 ms per division, and .5 volts/div vertically Any sugestions Thanks |
