I have my circuoit posted below. Iv never used a Diode before so this is why im posting it. im sure i have it correct but, just to make sure...
The purpose of the circuit is to have input 1 and input 2 be able to turn on the "main relay" but when input 1 is activated, it wont be able to activate the coil of the second relay.
When input 2 is activated, it will have 12v input into the circuit, activate the 2nd relay, then go past the diode and into the Main Relay activating it.
I wont need a diode blocking input 1 because even if that switch is on, its the same 12v from the battery as input 2 would have.
All relays are "12 Volt Automotive" relays. Also what im wondering is, will any diode work? I bought some Epoxy Rectifier diodes that have a 3amp rating; will those work?
Any help is greatly appreciated

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
